Uno de los tres segmentos operativos de Evonik es el de Nutrition & Care, el cual fabrica productos para aplicaciones en bienes de consumo de necesidades cotidianas, en las industrias de nutrición animal y de salud. En este segmento hay siete Líneas de Negocio, de las cuales Nutrición Animal es la más activa en el mercado de alimento y alimento balanceado, uno de los principales mercados finales de Evonik.

Los científicos de Nutrición Animal de Evonik se mantienen en estrecho contacto con universidades, instituciones de investigación y otros miembros de la comunidad científica, y comparten su conocimiento en artículos científicos y capacitaciones al cliente.
